Steven Plaziak

My inspiration frequently comes from the natural beauty of New England, with its many fleeting moments and subjects. Each season brings nuances to the color palette. I paint primarily in watercolor, and continuously experiment with oil, acrylic and gouache. I try to capture atmosphere, and to convey the essence of a subject while emphasizing color harmony, composition, value, and light.
