Robert Dietz

I have been blessed with the talent to paint and draw. Even as a child I could draw almost anything I saw. I didn't do much in the way of creating art until I retired about 10 years ago. I'm self-taught & work in oils and pastels. Seascapes, marshes & Landscapes are my favorite subjects (catching the light in my paintings is my goal). My paintings are inspired by trips to Cape Cod, Nava Scotia, Main, upstate NY, Europe and the Ct. shoreline. I do commission pieces and portraits. I'm a member of several art associations & societies where I've won several awards. My work has been shown in galleries & restaurants along the shoreline.
