Patricia Shoemaker

Patricia Shoemaker is a landscape and still life painter, working in oil, pastel and watercolor. As a fine arts major at Wells College, she spent a semester at the Art Student’s League in NYC. She received her BFA from the University of Georgia and MFA in graphic design from the Yale School of Art, where she was awarded the Alexei Brodovitch Prize. Prior to attending graduate school, she attended the Yale Brissago (Switzerland) Summer Program.

Patricia is an elected member of the Madison Art Society; an associate member of the Lyme Art Association, Pastel Society of America, and Oil Painters of America; a member of the Connecticut Pastel Society and Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts.
