Visual story-telling through art is my goal in each paper-cutting that I create. Whether it is for commissions (celebrating a moment in one's life) or for my gallery, they all take an ancient art form and make it contemporary through the images and my presentation. A self-taught artist, I have studied the history and traditions of the art form and relish trying new ways of presenting cut paper art - both the colored layering and the cut-from-one-piece puzzles. Cut by hand...given from the heart.
