Marjan Babaie Nasr

Marjan (pronounced “mar-john”) obtained her Bachelor and Masters in Fine Arts, at the Academy of Fine Arts, Bologna, Italy.

She was a painting instructor at the Bologna and the Ravenna Academies of Fine Arts.

She has been a professional painter for over 20 years, holding several shows and exhibitions in Venice, Milan, Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna and Berlin. In 2017, she displayed her painting “Life” at a special exhibition at the Louvre Museum, Paris.

Marjan has also worked as a restorer of renaissance and baroque Italian paintings and frescoes.

Marjan was also trained as a classical singer.

Her subjects include flowers, portraits and calligraphy.

In 2023, Marjan moved to Guilford, Connecticut.
