Lisa Hesselgrave’s work centers on figures, objects, and landscapes, and the alchemy that occurs when these subjects converge. Hesselgrave’s studio is a 200 year old stone outbuilding, near the edge of the woods, where she paints images combining an adherence to craft with the pursuit of personal content.
