Linda McCarthy

Linda has been studying and creating art in Connecticut for over 30 years. Her clients, in addition to many local homeowners, include Gaylord hospital, Harbor Chase Elderly Housing, in Connecticut and The Perch Hotel in Puerto Rico. Her work can be seen at BACA Gallery in Branford and various individual shows throughout the year.

"My oil and acrylic paintings often emerge from a memory, a flash of color, or a thought that leads to the motion and feeling that I want to portray. I love the way nature portrays the darkest and brightest moments in life… the forcefulness and tranquility of water and the ever changing light and motion of all living things. My painting explores our feelings about what we see, with a touch of reality."
