Deborah Greco

Deb is an award-winning landscape artist, whose paintings combine elements of impressionism and realism, and more recently, abstraction, to capture the essence of nature, bringing landscapes to life on canvas. Her inspiration comes from the serene marshes along Connecticut's shoreline, the textures and movements of foliage and grasses, the changing seasons and play of light. Her process begins with plein air sketches and gouache studies and uses these along with photographs to create finished pieces in her studio on canvas or aluminum.

Deb has a BFA in painting and continued studies throughout her career, and is a member of Connecticut Women Artists, Lyme Art Association, and local art associations. Her work is in numerous private and corporate collections.
