Christine Chiocchio
Painter & Photographer
"Painting, for me, is like composing music—each brushstroke a note, building rhythm and movement on the canvas. Through color and form, I strive to translate nature’s beauty and emotions, evoking joy, nostalgia, and tranquility in the viewer."
Christine Chiocchio is a painter and photographer based on the Connecticut shoreline. A lifelong love of nature draws her to seascapes, landscapes, and birds — and to the feeling each one stirs before she ever picks up a brush. From an osprey riding the wind to last light on a lighthouse, she's capturing that moment of connection. She listens to the sounds, breathes the air, feels the warmth of the sun, watches the sky and the tides — and pours it all onto the canvas. Each brushstroke is a note, each painting becomes her song. Christine holds a BA in Studio Art, Magna Cum Laude, from Fairfield University, studied at the Lorenzo De Medici Institute in Florence, and her work is held in private and international collections.
